Khajadour “Koch” Baghdadlian

kochKhajadour "Koch" Baghdadlian is a life-long jeweler, having started his first apprenticeship at just twelve years of age. As a young man, Koch's passion took him around the world, learning from the best master jewelers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

After having honed his skills as an expert custom jewelry designer, Koch made the decision in 1976 to immigrate with his young family to the United States. He first settled in New York City where he practiced his trade as a diamond setter on Manhattan's world-famous West 47th Street. After eight years in the Diamond District, he decided to venture out again - this time to Annapolis, Maryland. This decision marks the genesis of La Belle Cezanne, the premier, family-operated, retail jewelry store in Annapolis.

Always happy to engage in a friendly conversation, Koch is fluent in Armenian, Egyptian, Arabic, Moroccan, Turkish, and English. He specializes in designing, creating, and manufacturing finished jewelry goods, as well as the buying and selling of commodities and raw materials. Koch manages all in-house jewelry repairs, ring sizing, polishing, casting, cleaning and diamond setting, and is responsible for the creation of all "one-of-a-kind" custom-made jewelry. Koch inspects raw material and supervises it through finished product. He will travel or search throughout the world for goods that meet specific client needs. This attention to detail and quality of service has fostered a dedicated clientele throughout the country.
