Mariana works the floor, assisting with customer service and sales. She is in charge of making sure all packages are properly exported from the store, and is in charge of the repair items brought in from customers. Mariana restrings pearls by hand, in-house. When customers come in with their own jewelry to recreate the piece into something new, she helps define the theme and translate their desires into a design that is an expression of their persona.

When new shipment arrives, Mariana oversees the quality control by checking and reviewing the order. After making sure the order is correct she counts all the diamonds on every piece of jewelry. She adds this into the system and prices them, tags them, and even grades them as well. After this takes place, Mariana is in charge of arranging all new merchandise in the window displays and showcases. Any piece of jewelry that needs to go back to the manufacturer is coordinated by Mariana with meticulous care to ensure accountability.
